Changing the Drive and Break Frequency
Your vehicle comes equipped with a one-touch customizable electronic speed control (ESC) that enables you to change the way your vehicle accelerates and brakes. Before you get started, make sure your radio and vehicle are on and the motor plug is connected.
Drive Frequency Setup:
- Turn on the chassis power switch. Press and hold the setup button until the LED light blinks red and beeps.
- Within the first five beeps, assign the Drive Frequency using the throttle on your transmitter.
Full throttle – 500Hz Punchy
Neutral – 1KHz Default Setting
Brake – 2KHz Gradual
- After five beeps, you will hear a long high pitch tone. The Drive Frequency Setup is now complete.
Brake Frequency Setup:
- Immediately after completing the Drive Frequency Setup, you will hear another series of five beeps.
- Within the second five beeps, assign the Brake Frequency using the throttle on your transmitter.
Full throttle – Soft Brake (40%)
Neutral – Default Brake 50%
Brake – Hard Brake 60%
- After the second five beeps, you will hear a long high pitch tone. The Brake Frequency Setup is now complete.
Warning:
Make sure to keep your hands and body parts away from the wheels. Your ESC will be immediately active after the second high pitch tone. So make sure to release the trigger to the neutral position before the second high pitch tone ends.
